The first is the variety of alcoholic beverages, several of which are fairly pricey and are Disney Dining Plan eligible.

Second, is the universally-appealing well, at least to carnivores Memphis Dry-rub Pork Ribs. This is the most expensive entree, and gives you the choice of a side and garlic toast. Louis Ribs entree instead. As far as snacks and sides go, the French Fries with Pulled Pork and Cheese are a solid choice. Roaring Fork — Located at Wilderness Lodge, we highly recommend taking the boat to Roaring Fork for a meal and midday escape from Magic Kingdom.

There are basically two reasons to do this, both of which are pictured above. On the left is the Country-style Baked Meatloaf Served with Buttery Green Peas, Chunky Mashed Potatoes, and Gravy.

On the right is the Barbecued Brisket and Burnt Ends Served with Potato Hash, Fiery Coleslaw, and Cornbread. As for a third reason, the atmosphere at Wilderness Lodge is second-to-none.

My personal favorite is the newer Ocean Moon Bowl , which features blue noodles and tuna, among many other colorful things. The other bowls give you the option to choose among the fresh, high quality, and delicious ingredients to make something healthy, heavy and decadent, or in between. Aside from the Ocean Moon Bowl, the Combination Bowl is the way to go—both are great values on the DDP!

All three are awesome, and highly recommended. Even beyond that, there are several entrees that are good picks in terms of Disney Dining Plan value. That plus the specialty alcoholic beverages really elevate the value here into the top tier.

By contrast, nearby Ronto Roasters offers delicious options that are poor uses of DDP credits. Polite Pig — One of the relatively recent additions to Disney Springs, Polite Pig is another BBQ joint. Following our most recent visit here, we consider Polite Pig a must-eat meal on the Disney Dining Plan.

Above is what we ordered. As covered in that post, those are the two best bang for your DDP credit meals. Overall, the price differences at Counter Service restaurants are less drastic than they are at Table Service restaurants, but you can still come out ahead by eating at the right Counter Service restaurants.

There are a few other places you can spot Mickey outside of character cavalcades in the parks right now. or for a lazy day when you just want a great brunch before swimming in your pool or shopping at Disney Springs!

One of the sometimes problems for California Grill is that it can feel a bit cramped and rushed, but due to lower capacity now, it feels bright and airy at this Contemporary Resort spot!

While there are no fireworks at the Magic Kingdom right now well, there are little baby fireworks , the views at California Grill are still seriously stunning! And you can see Cinderella Castle with its nightly Christmas projections shining bright at nighttime.

California Grill is also a great spot for sushi lovers, with sashimi and hand-rolled sushi. and Pepperoni Pizza. California Grill is great for date night or an evening when you want to soak in the views and magic of the Magic Kingdom without actually having to step into the Magic Kingdom.

This is one of our favorite spots for brunch, and it features some SECRET MENU ITEMS hellooooo , chicken and waffles. This quiet, well-lit spot also happens to have a KILLER Chipotle Bloody Mary , topped with shrimp and chorizo! Do you love fried chicken? Like, really, really LOVE fried chicken?

SPEAKING of hearty meals at Disney Springs, we could never forget Raglan Road! We also recently learned this place has a TOTALLY Instammable brunch with delicious dishes like Pork Hash Tagged and delectable bread service. Is wine more of your thing? The interior is warm and cozy , making this spot perfect for date night or for a great catch-up lunch with friends!

The wine? Well, there are more than choices by the ounce, bottle, and glass as well as cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages. And there you have it!
