You guys know I always want to give you the absolute best and most thorough and honest reviews possible. So I bought every Fre Wine flavor I could find.

With that in mind, this review is quite long. So I made a little table of contents for you. Or you can click the variety in which you are interested below and it will jump you straight to that part of the review.

Fre says this alcohol-removed wine is rich and smooth with bright fruit flavors including ripe black cherry aroma and a subtle smoky character. They also suggest pairing this Red Blend with salmon, chicken, risotto, and pasta.

Yes please! To be sure, this wine is delicious and really tastes like red wine. This blog post was a great choice, Tiff. Good job! Except that my lips and teeth never turned purple. Which is definitely a plus. Highly recommend. Cabernet is described as a dark cherry aroma with the taste of berries and spice.

Fre recommends paring it with steak and blue cheese. To be sure, this non alcoholic Cabernet Sauvignon tasted a lot more like grape juice than wine. They also recommend serving it with lamb, stew, burgers, and pizza.

Honestly, I thought it tasted like cranberry juice. To be sure, it was super tart, very fruity, and almost watery. Although I have to admit, it did get better as I drank it. Described as containing lively tropical fruit aromas, creamy apple flavors, and crisp citrus notes, this Chardonnay is recommended to be served with seafood, pasta, salad, and cheese.

Even though Chardonnay is usually my least favorite wine, this non alcoholic Chardonnay is one of my top three picks. In fact, I have purchased this multiple times already.

It is super light and crisp. Since that used to be the only time I ever drank Chardonnay. However, I see a lot more of this Chardonnay in my future! And hopefully going out to places too. Fre says this alcohol-removed Moscato has aromas of rose petals and peaches with a lovely finish and recommends serving this non alcoholic wine with spicy foods, cheese, and fruit based desserts.

Normally, Moscato is my absolute favorite wine. Only topped by Champagne, sparkling wine, or the sparkling version of Moscato.

However, this variety is one of my least favorites of all the non alcoholic options. In fact, it tastes like sparkling grape juice gone bad. This White Zinfandel is described as strawberry and cranberry with refreshing ripe berries. Fre suggests this wine be served chilled and paired with tapas, crab cakes, pasta, barbecue, and spicy foods.

At first I expected this to taste like church wine. However, I was pleasantly surprised. To be sure this alcohol removed wine is light, crisp, and refreshing.

In fact, I thought it tasted much more like a Rose than an White Zin. Bring on summer wine season! According to Fre, this Sparkling Brut contains hints of green apple, ripe pear, and strawberry with a dry, refreshing finish. Of course they recommend pairing this with seafood pasta, sushi, fried chicken, cheese, or potato chips.

In fact, I love all sparkling wines. Definitely one of my top picks. Described as containing strawberry and citrus flavors with fruity berry accents, this non alcoholic Rose is recommended to be served with grilled fish or summer salads.

With that in mind, this was one of the non alcoholic wines I was most excited to try. However, it turned out to be one of my least favorites. Very disappointing. However, I highly recommend using a decanter or wrapping your bottle in a chilled towel and just drinking the Fre White Zin instead.

Unfortunately I could not find either of these to try. But if they are the same flavors as the bottled versions, I am guessing I would like the Sparkling Brut and skip the Sparkling Rose. According to Fre, the Sparkling Brut in a can pairs well with brie, charcuterie, sushi, and buttered popcorn.

Again, my kind of night! And the Sparkling Rose in a can pairs with citrusy salads, risotto, or a chocolate dessert. Because there are so many different brands and types and kinds, there is no way that one version of one kind from one brand can carry all of that weight. To be sure, some taste more fruity or grape juice-esque.

Others taste somewhat watered down. I love having the ability to just have a glass of wine after a long day without having to worry about negative health effects, hangovers, driving, my mental health, etc.

Although I am not pregnant, nor am I a Dr. Again, always check with your Dr. Plus, I love that I can now have a glass of wine with my friends when we can see our friends again , and feel like a part of the group instead of just drinking a bottle of water.

But most of all, I love that I can have an additional little luxury at the end of the day without any additional worries. Because we all already have plenty of those.

All in all, my top picks are the Red Blend, the White Zinfandel, the Chardonnay, and the Sparkling Brut. And I love that with the Sparkling Brut I can always keep a bottle of non alcoholic sparkling wine in my fridge for special occasions.

Even if sometimes that special occasion is that I found a bottle of non alcoholic sparkling wine in my fridge. Subscribe to my weekly newsletter to stay up to date on the latest product reviews, style and beauty trends, and exciting upcoming launch info!

Great review, very helpful! For example, something led me to stop drinking alcohol. But without the alcohol, I wouldn't want one over a normal flavored seltzer. The flavors are artificial, and what tastes good for a hard seltzer isn't what I'm looking for in a non-alcoholic drink.

That said, if you've always wished that you could enjoy that classic White Claw flavor without any of the alcohol, this drink delivers on its promise. CNBC Make It independently determines what we cover and recommend in the "Worth the Money" section.

The taste was not for me. I used this to make The Bees Knees , a recipe I found on the Ritual website. I improvised my own honey simple syrup and then topped this with sparkling water.

This was another winner that I would definitely drink again. Like the paloma, it gave me the familiar warm feeling of an actual cocktail.

I kept this one simple and mixed together a quick mojito, which is just Rum Alternative , soda water, mint, and lime juice. This one was good too. Looking back, a piña colada would have been the move for this one. Overall, I loved the Ritual products. The drink recipes on their website are endless too.

All of the Ritual products are low-calorie 5 calories or less per serving , and low sugar 2 grams or less per serving. There are no artificial sweeteners or flavors. On its own, Monday zero proof whiskey smelled MUCH better than Ritual.

I had saved this one for last because I was afraid of what I might have to drink… which makes my experience with this one even better. Monday actually sent me a cocktail kit , including the zero proof whiskey, a few mixers, and a recipe card with mocktail inspo this would make a beautiful gift, btw!

We tried Upside Dawn from Athletic Brewing, which I understand is their version of a golden ale. His review was literally two thumbs up emojis 👍🏼👍🏼 , which may not sound like a big deal, but just trust me when I say it is. I did try it myself of course, and it tasted like beer.

Did this review make any sense? YES you should try Athletic Brewing. Maybe that sounds gross? I liked the different flavors, but they were subtle. This contains actual hops again, a very subtle flavor , plus L-Theanine and ashwagandha to boost brain function and stress management.

Did I drop the ball here?! UGH maybe. After reading reviews and speaking with people for their input, the consensus is that finding a good non-alcoholic wine is difficult. Decision paralysis got me here. I should still try some, right?

This beer is delicious and hits the spot. Like you, I went ahead and bought six different whiskey alternatives, and found that the Monday was by far the best, and this is now all I drink in my glass right now!

The 74 was also pretty good. All the other ones that I have tried, again that I will not name, were either glorified, grape juices, or wine imitations that really did not taste like wine at all.

He loves the chelada nada, basically their take on a Michelada. Heineken zero is also delicious. I love Hiyo for more of a cocktail or spritz type of beverage, they too have adaptogens and taste great! We just found Recess and are also pleased with the variety pack which was a watermelon mojito, margarita, mule and Paloma!

Have you heard of the brand Trip? energetic, chill etc. Thank you for this article! I loved this article! Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I finally went to the grocery store today and picked up a six pack of the Athletic Brewing. There were 3 different non-alcoholic beers with this brewery. Ale, IPA, and some other IPA. I went with the Ale that you had pictured. I almost feel like the stress is diminishing already!

But I think I might have to get another 6pack or more for when I go boating on Sunday. The cans look like the real deal so nobody will know. Thanks again for this great article! I can be in a social setting or even just lounging at home and still have the experience of a beer or mixed drink.

Some of these seem more like energy drink alternatives rather than alcohol alternatives, though. However, I am very curious about Ritual and Monday now!

They are much more flavorful than a traditional beer imo, and my friends that drink like the alcoholic versions, too! It's also available at select Sprouts markets so if you have one near you, it could be worth going to the store to pick some up. Overall, when you put the price into context, it's not such a bad deal if you're looking for non-alcoholic options.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but the thought of shipping carbonated drinks makes me nervous. I just have the image of the box being dropped and all the cans exploding. This might just be a unique experience, because I've gotten various canned products delivered to me, and they've all been completely fine.

If you are not like me and find the convenience of having your carbonated beverages delivered straight to your door, this is a great option for you.
